Measure Your Ring Size Using Paper or String
An easy way to get your ring size at home is through measuring your finger with a paper or string.
- To start, cut a piece of string that measures approximately 4 inches long. If using paper, cut a piece of paper that measures approximately ¾ inches wide and 4 inches long.
- Wrap the string or paper around the base of your finger.
- Mark the point where the paper or string overlap.
- Measure the millimeters with a ruler and use the conversion chart below to find your size.
- If your knuckle is much larger than the base of your finger, take a second measurement of your knuckle. Take the average of these two measurements and choose the corresponding size.
- If you fall in between two sizes, use the larger size.
